Wolbert & Master carries several fertilizers. We
offer 50 lb bags of pelletized fertilizer, as well as 25 lb bags of
concentrated powder fertilizer (water soluble). Here’s what we have to
choose from:
Pelletized 50 lb bags
- 19-19-19 This is a good, all-around “feeder” type
fertilizer. It is recommended several times a year, when needs dictate.
Under normal conditions, this product should last 4 to 6 weeks
- 18-24-12 50% SCU (Sulphur Coated Urea). This is a
great starter fertilizer. It is recommended for use when seed is applied
the first time. Under normal conditions, this product should last 4 to 6
weeks
Water soluble concentrated powder 25 lb bags
- 16-32-16 in 25 lb bags of water soluble, concentrated
powder. This is a hydroseeder- friendly product, as it will not wear on
equipment like a pelletized, more corrosive fertilizer will. It acts fast,
like a quick charge to the soil. It is great for planting, and will last 3
to 4 weeks.
Organic Biosol 55 lb bags
- 7-2-3 Biosol in 55 lb
bags is a 100% organic long lasting fertilizer with soil improving
consequences. Biosol has a balanced nutrition ratio and supplies the plant
with micro- and macronutrients throughout the whole growing period. Building
the organic matter and humus allows the soil to become active, allowing the
nutrients to be available for plant intake. It is the high organic material
in the Biosol that improves the humus content of the soil in addition to
providing quality nutrients for plants. The soil is enriched, rooting is
strengthened and the growing and vitality of your turf is increased, while
strengthening the plants resistance against disease. Biosol lacks salt and
is therefore suitable for greenhouse crops and arid/low precipitation areas.
The risk of nitrate leaching is very low because of the organic fixation of
the nutrients and nitrogen, providing the ultimate use of nutrients. Biosol
is a safe and ecological fertilizer because of the selected raw materials
and added vitamins. Since Biosol is 100% organic, it is safe to use around
children and animals.
